Eliot is a New York-based writer/producer who weaves original narratives across a spectrum of genres. Central to his oeuvre is the exploration of the 'expectation trap'—a recurring theme that captivates and challenges his characters.
His stories chart the journey of individuals entangled in complex dilemmas, on a quest for resolution. He champions the notion that the crux of human existence hinges on choice; it's through confronting and navigating difficult decisions that we carve paths to clarity and understanding.
Writing with his heart and crafting with his pen, he combines his passion for filmmaking with boundless imagination, leveraging his experience as an architect, entrepreneur, and financial advisor. His ambition is to make movies imbued with his voice, which resonates with authenticity and creative insight.
He holds a master's degree in architecture from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in economics from Seoul National University.
He writes in two languages.

Michael is a Korean-American writer/director based in New York who is drawn to narratives that span a wide range of genres but ultimately depict the nuances of one’s desires to feel accepted in this world and the intricacies in which they present themselves in everyday life.He hopes to challenge perspectives and impart moments of introspection. He believes that empathy is the most powerful force in the world and hopes to share that through his films.
His films have screened at festivals such as New York Shorts International Film Festival and DisOrient Asian American Film Festival of Oregon. He has also produced films that have screened at Hawaii International Film Festival, CAAMFest, Tide Film Festival, and Fargo Film Festival.
He has previously studied creative producing at Columbia University and holds a bachelor’s degree in statistics from Harvard University.
